The dark academia theme has always been popular with its solemn tones, shadowy classic architecture and focus on liberal arts. I get it though; there’s something undeniably cosy in the muted colours, overcast skies and endless looming corridors.
It’s also a fantastic theme for any Notion workspace. It’s not too hard to recreate this aesthetic as there’s an in-built dark mode and an abundance of resources online - pictures, elements, wallpapers etc. It also complements very well with anything academic, which makes for a perfect school planner.

The aesthetic of choice for every individual that grew up watching Studio Ghibli films and fell in love with their distinctive art style. The Studio Ghibli aesthetic is centred around beautifully illustrated and stunningly detailed sceneries that incite feelings of serenity and warmth as if you’re experiencing the scene in person.

Nature Personal Planner
As a plant and nature lover, I find that a dash of greenery brightens up a space like no other. Be it vines, ferns or flowery shrubs, potted plants can break up monotony and bring splashes of colour into your life. They instantly chase away any lingering gloominess and are just pleasant to look at (it helps if the pots are cute and of a complementary colour too).
This nature aesthetic is also popular among many Notion users because damn, isn’t it cosy and cheerful at the same time?

Yeah, I don’t think any elaboration is necessary. As a fan of Demon Slayer and its amazing animation and art style, I figured it’d be criminal not to make a Notion template inspired by the lovable cast.
